The introduction to my blog

Thanks for stopping by my blog, i hope that you find it helpful. In this blog i will Go over as much as i can about relationships, both serious and casual. I also will go over dating and how dating evolves in to more. The first concept i would like to go over is First impressions, because i believe two things, the first being that first impressions make or break the chances of dating. Also secondly first impressions are often observed differently from men than they are from women so i will go over how i believe each sex perceives both positive and negative first impressions.

In order to truly explain this I would like to tell you a story about a situation that had occurred in my own life. I used to DJ for a nightclub in my town. While being a DJ i had many advances made on me by the opposite sex, and i also made many advances. One advance in particular was made on me by the potential suitors best friend. Her best friend came to me and explained how her friend was interested in me and wanted to possibly date me. She then gave me her number. So i had called her up on the phone being that we had already met and got along alright i did not think anything other than this girl was truly interested in me. So I would call her and we would talk. We would talk and talk about all sorts of things, and then one day i decided i wanted to be romantic and surprise her for a day together. So i got directions to her home and left that day early so to spend the whole day with her. I arrived at her home, and she was definitely surprised and we did go for a walk. However once that walk was over she and i went back to her home where she asked me to leave as she had plans for the night and needed to get ready. So i left and still did not think anything strange was up or anything. Than the next day when i called she did not answer, nor did she call me back. This went on for a few days when i had finally got her to pick up she told me that i had freaked her out, and had given her the idea that i had been stalking her. She had no idea that i was told by her friend that she had romantic interest in me, so therefore she just thought i was a psycho. Once she found out that i had been told that she was a little bit more at ease to talk to me, and the rest of the story between her and i is history i will use more of it in future posts.

The point i am going to try and make with that story is this; Always be upfront and honest, and also never assume that someones first impression of you is the same as how you think you presented yourself. Also be sure to be willing to explain your intentions to a lady and reason for such intentions.
